Right for them, or you?
Bri Williams
I was watching Married At First Sight, a well known, rubbishy Australian TV dating show.
One of the brides was agonising over whether she was right for the husband.
On and on she went. Am I good enough? Does he like me?
“Enough!” I wanted to scream, “Forget whether you’re good enough for him. is he good enough for you?!!!”
I see this all too often, whether it’s with consultants and their clients or job seekers with employers.
It can be natural to wonder whether you are good enough for them, but it’s more important to determine whether they are good enough for you.
